About
Tagurself is a widget that displays your interests as a tag cloud, visualized from any RSS, APML, blog, social profile, or web page. By analyzing what you pay attention to; topics of interest can be extracted, as well as a value representing your level of interest in them.
The Tagurself widget can be embedded into any web page, blog, or social profile that allows javascript. Based on the source URLs the widget will update and display new topics as your interests change.
Tagurself leverages the power of APML (Attention Profiling Markup Language). It is a file format for storing a user's "Attention Profile". It is an open, free standard that you can use in all sorts of magical ways as more and more online services move to support it.
Who's behind all this?
Tagurself is built by Jon Cianciullo from Cluztr and powered by Engagd.com.
Cluztr is the social browsing network built from people's clicks. It provides a way to share your web history in real-time to friends, provides personalized recommendations, a way to connect with users who share similar tastes, and much more.
Engagd.com provides a set of open-standard based web services for remixing attention data. It helps developers create and apply APML in various ways. It is a collection of the first, best set of web-services for adding APML support to your application or mashup.
